Visit To Bukit Tagar**25112008
My Sustainability's lecturer organized a visit to Bukit Tagar which is located in Rawang(Actually not so sure) So we planned to set out from campus at 6.30am..OMG~this means that we should wake up around 5am..since i graduated in Chong Hwa, i never wake up so early anymore...However i can make it, i tumpang Eileen's car ( No need to walk in the dark road by self ) thanks Eileen~
We spent about 2 hours to arrive there..I slept during the whole way ... Bukit Tagar Sanitary Landfill is the first landfill in Malaysia, it is also the most premier in region..actually it is not that busuk although there are million tonnes of rubbishssssss over there...but still got some disgusting smell..

In your opinion, do you think sustainability is possible or do you think it's just a dream???
I tell you what I think lar. I think sustainability is just an excuse for westerners/developed countries to criticise developing countries.
Fast growing economics like China and India always take the blame for producing the most CO2. But if you calculate production of CO2 gas/ population, US is no. 1.
This is just my thought lar. You can ask your friends to participate in this little discussion. And together we can see what each other is thinking. Hehe...
At the beginning of this lecture, i was hard to adapted myself to it. i still can remember that the lecturer talked about the Limits To Growth in the class..the topic is about PEOPLE CAUSE POLLUTION, BEST WAY TO REDUCE POLLUTION IS TO CONTROL POPULATION..i couldnt accept it that time..u know~my family is the most convention family in this world..THEY purposely cant accept this kind of thinking...Well~i think i am not that suitable to choose this module..Anyway, i dont think it is just a dream..at least they started to do something trying to protect the world..beside they have no choice to produce those harmful substance during development..Can you sleep in the condition which is without fan?Can you keep the food flesh without putting them into the fridge?==

Remember, sustainability= economic+ environmental+ society. Without considering any of the above, it's just a dream.
